Speedrun achievement
Hey, i am a little confused with this achievement, its the last one i need to get them all and i just figured out the jump/grab mechanic with the heads after a lot of failed attempts, so im kind of confident that i can get a good time, however, the "TOTAL TIME" in the menu is incredibly misleading and i just cant understand the logic behind it. For example, in my first and completed save i have a "total time" of "100:26.58" what does that even mean?! is it something related to japan time?! i dont get it!. But thats not it, because in my most recent save, wich i just started like 10 minutes ago, i have a "total time" of "379:27.41" WHAT?!
Also, it doesn't make sense to me that not even the world record is less than 30 min, so please, if someone can help me figure out what the hell is the actual time requirement for this achievement, or a way to measure it, i would be extremely thankful! :Etna:

For the record, i did tried to search on google, but there's not alot of info about this game, much less about the achievements

The time on your file is the sum of the best time you have on each level. Level you haven't cleared yet have a time of 99:99 (or something like that), so that's why your new file has a big time.

As you clear levels, that total time will decrease (ex: You clear a level with a time of 30.00s, then the total decrease to 379:27.41 - (99.99 - 69.99) = 309.28.41).

The speedrun achivement is simply to get a total time low enough. No need to speedrun the whole game in one go. Just speedrun each stage one by one until you get S-Rank on almost every stage (there's a margin, so getting A on some stage is ok). I'd recommend skipping 1-1, as that stage S-Rank is completely ridiculous and requires near perfection to get (took me over 100 tries).

Earlier stages tend to be a bit harder, since they are shorter and have less element to interact with (the margin of error in therefor very small). In later stage, the margin of error is bigger, so you don't have to make perfect jump every time.

Wow, thank you so much for explaining me, i've never imagined it could work like that, the achievement seems to be a little misleading on porpuse XD. I actually have the first level S rank, so im just gonna go and try to get every S rank from the last stage to the first, thanks!! :ex1mikoto:

You are welcome.

Have fun figuring out the "speedrun" strategy of each level (it's a fun puzzle)
