The vive software (VIVE console) is unnecessary and stupid, Imo. And in addition, VIVE has some of the worst hardware too (Vive Pro and Vive Pro 2). Its expensive, it sucks, it gets too warm and the cable cant handle normal use over time. Sometimes there is no picture in the headset, restarting the software/re-plugging the cable fixes it most of the time. Its just rly bad as one of the more expensive vr equipment you can buy today. And dont get me started on the wand controllers.... What the hell did they...

as the title says, ive tried new drivers (nvidia 4090), reinstalling vive console, disconnecting cables and restarting the pc to then connect them again, even the beta for vive console (on steam) anyone having these issues?

After update v2.1.22.6 screen after 5 minutes start glitching/tearing. This version sucks. How to downgrade back? Upper side of screen tearing. So I just recently got a cosmos elite. I tried the vive console from the website as well as on here but every time I close steamvr or the console after playing vr, my whole computer freezes. Once my pc freezes I can hear the coil whine from my gpu and its really loud. I have managed to figure out that if I turn my monitor on and off when it freezes it fixes it without having to restart my pc. But I do not want to keep doing that.
