After deploying my combat team i get no more objectives and the left side of the map stays blacked out so I can't even go after the camps Anyone else?

Any suggestions on how to fix the issue guys/girls? The game starts up... but will no longer let me continue where I left off or start a new game. I've already tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game a few times already.

I see multiple discussions about a save option, but after almost a year there hasn't been really any updates, other than a small one right after release.

For some reason when i start mission 3 and put the squads in the 3 spots when the cut scene triggers it says we have lost control of the points and I get an auto mission fail. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, redoing the first two missions multiple times etc but nothing seems to get me out of this doom loop Anyone else having the same issue?...
