I was excited to try this game, but the game would not properly launch most of the time, and when it did, it was typically stuttering. I do not know if this is an issue with the game itself, with the anti-tamper software, or that the game and my system just do not get along, but I could not even get far enough into the game to know if I truly like it or not.

The game would be awesome but...

The game is 3 years old and still has game breaking bugs that can only be solved by restarting a mission that you have spent a lot of time on. Every encounter with a specific enemy(the flesh mower) leads to this bug in 2 out of 3 cases. Great Work!...

Just buying the engine of XCOM wont create a good game, if you are unable to understand the engine after such a time.

Warhammer 40k X-Com, what isn't there to like! The game isn't perfect and has the odd glitch that can be frustrating but all in all its a fun game with a decent length to it. Plenty of variety in the squad make up and skills mean it has replayability. The missions can get a bit samey and it would be nice to see them expand the mission types. The 3 pieces of DLC are good additions worth picking up if you enjoy the main game, here's hoping they continue to develop the game and it sees more DLC in the future or a Chaos Gate 2!

Fun, tactical turn based strategy in the style of X-Com. This game is massively challenging and requires somewhat of a tactical mind & patience, so anyone wanting an easy time with this should turn away now. Lots of weapons, armour's & research to be done so enough to keep you busy for a while. Highly recommend for strategy & Warhammer 40k enthusiasts. Solid 7/10.

Daemonhunters is seriously amazing both as a TBS game and a Warhammer game. It has a great story and original characters (the established 40K characters who show up are also really cool) and it feels epic from start to finish. The DLC are great too, each add to the game significantly in different ways and I recommend them all.
