Yes, I converted a Scourge Herald this game. :D
First, don't discount Flagellants. They usually turn pretty ok once you boosted the bless a bit. Some high hp, armor and a fire shield on a unit that you can flood the map with is no joke.
Second, send the Crusade against the Witch. 200 Gold is cheap for what you get and it should do some damage.
Third, Templars and Paladins are great combatants. They are basically boosted Knights and can turn very nasty with a good bless.
Fourth, break a few seals and let your divine visitors do their job. The higher levels pack a mean punch and are free once the seal is broken.
Just don't break the last one.
