Bloodwash is a fun, short horror title which is well worth its small price tag. While it relies mostly on its story's 'shock factor' to drive its horror themes, it is underpinned by a strange and oppressive atmosphere which keeps the eeriness going.

- Good story establishment with an unsettling atmosphere to match.
- Great SFX and ambience.
- Uncanny NPCs with flavour-building dialogue.
- A fun & unique little mechanic where you can ask NPCs about the collectables you find.
- Nostalgic, 90s slasher vibes.

- A couple of annoying crashes when trying to earn the handheld-related achievement.
- A bug where despite having the master volume turned down, random sound effects are unaffected and would absolutely rinse my eardrums.
- The game is strangely detached from its title. I was excited for some weird guts-in-the-washer action, but the laundromat plays very little into the overarching story.
- The action sequences feel a little weak when compared to the strong build-up of tension prior to them.

I actually enjoy this game and I keep re-playing it over and over again, but I still feel uneasy when at the end of the game
