Why can't I load save from battle?

This game will make you question in what reality you are in. It is said to be 2023 game, but it feels like 1998 game that just take more space on your drive.
I love turn based strategy games with RPG and 4x elements. But I can't recommend this one. It does non of what it tries to in a good way plus slaps disaster of UX on top.
Turn based combat? How about we take the most vanilla turn based combat possible and add the most bizarre and random retaliation mechanics. RPG elements? From hell. They throw together couple of dozen unrelated, kill that guy over there, quests just enough to get you complete lost. And of course no way to track them. Tech progression is absolute $hit show. Uncountable variety of useless junk.
Save yourself some nerves, don't buy this game.

An interesting strategy game where the player's focus is on completing quests and defending their wandering magic tower. This game tries to stay at a relatively small scale throughout its duration, with a limited number and size of armies and the gold/mana to maintain them. Turns stay short and quick for the entire game's duration, which I appreciate after getting burned out by the endless growth of most 4x strategy games. Most resources are finite, which forces the player to keep moving their tower and hero lodges to new locations with more resources to gather. There is also a soft time limit in the form of the "Council of Mages," who slowly get fed up with your existence as time goes on.

The replayability for this game is moderate with one world map that never changes and several "archetypes" that determine your character's crafting options and spells, though the "Weaver's Realm" DLC tries to address this by randomizing the world map. You'll probably try one or two interesting archetypes before moving on unless this game really hooks you. However, I feel the price of the game is fair for what is delivered.
