This summer I have been working between IRL stuff and trying to juggle all the background work that is required for a project this big.

I don't want to bore you with details but basically budgeting, some actual work IRL on my house, and visiting my brothers (they are fine XD). Lots of building work and auto work as well.

All the work I have kicked down the road during the last four years working on the project needed to be caught up. It was quite a bit.

Organizing, ensuring lockable content is set up properly, on top of the male and female routes are almost two completely separate stories, it's been a ton of work. I've had two writing blocks on dialogue that just frustrated me.

The world building has been intensive and extensive, with research and lore building added to the PDA already translated to four languages.

Writing goes in spurts sometimes: sometimes you try and can't write for a couple of days, and then the next day you drop 24 pages worth of content.

I can't share much without spoiling a ton of stuff. Some of the raw writing I will share just to show you the scope of the dialogue. This is the writing script before scenes are setup.

Pace is a top priority for me. It will be a longer VN, and I want to keep the player engaged and interacting, so the writing is also being directed in a way where the player has to solve puzzles, make decisions based on intel collected, on top of the dating routes.

The main cast, the cameos, and the NPCs will all be recording their VA as soon as I wrap up the final pages of the story, which I am pushing hard currently to do. I can't put a time on it but I work daily.

NPC VA Casting:

We have random streamers, and fans, recording lines for some NPC's in the story here and there: from the barista to the store clerks at Omegalul Tech, different members of the community have a chance to get their voice into our game!

On our discord we have a spot you can put a voice clip, and when I set up a character, I may dm you to voice a character based on your voice! Credits of course will go to you and will be in the game.

There are a multitude of NPC's that will be in game, designed to add color and depth to the world.

Once we are in the VA, I will update you guys on the progress. Art assets, models and building/directing the scenes will take some extra time.

I will be setting up another update as soon as I can with more details on the finalized VA cast for the Dating Routes, the Support Roles, and Cameos, with additional information on casting of NPCs if you want to try voicing someone.

And in the future, the game is prepared for additional DLC packs with different Streamers, Vtubers, Characters. So who knows?

So I appreciate everyone sticking together on this. I have been incredibly antisocial while writing. It's kind of an issue with me lmao. I get locked in the world and can't escape while writing.
