I loved the design and story. Will there be a DLC? Or was it just an empty promise?

I have some ideas about DLC if it's planned. Maybe if our character decided to stay in new world, we could have a option to use 'map' feature to travel to different areas to assist locals in need. (could add new heroines that way) It can be similar rules, you gather resources with mini games to repair and upgrade buildings. Hey all, see there's not a lot of people getting the Dull ending, and no one really providing reasons/methods on how. Here is how I obtained it.
