The Furnace is hard to get

So I started playing the game, am at what seems to be the beginning (I have the Service Weapon, the Disc that allows you to feel like Lord Darth Vader, and the Horsie) and I reached the Power Plant. Nice zone, killing some enemies, and I do some work for the janitor by throwing "trash" in the furnace. The worst thing about this game is that I can only play it for the first time once.
(ive played it on playstation and on epic games and hoping to finish a full replay on steam soon)

Trying to play on a 4090 and getting bad FPS

Why am I getting frame drops to around 50 FPS when turning the camera around? I have settings maxed out with DLSS on the highest setting (2K actual resolution, upscaling to 4K). The card works great in everything else.

Hands down one of the best games I've ever played. Don't read up on lore or anything. Just go in blind and you'll have a great time.
