I'm deep in development on the big 1.0 update for Dead Grid and will be revealing screenshots of all the exciting new features as soon as the new UI is ready.

PLANNED CONTENT IN 1.0

New mission locations
Final survivor, plus new assignments for existing survivors
Major rework of the area intel points system
10 new music tracks for camp and combat
Game difficulty rebalance (especially for higher modes)
Region progression lore and a victory screen
Improvements to existing accessories and gadgets
Additional achievements
Bug fixes

PRICE INCREASE NOTICE

As mentioned in my Early Access notes, I plan to slightly increase the price of the game before the 1.0 release. This will also allow me to run a discount during the 1.0 launch. The price has remained the same since Dead Grid first launched in Early Access — even after many substantial content updates. A huge thank-you to everyone who's supported the game early!

Right now, the game is 50% off during the Steam Summer Sale, so it’s a great time to pick it up at a low price.

Game Too Easy

I'm not trying to show off or anything and I'm sure other people have this issue but the game is too easy on the highest difficulty. It feels like this is how the game is supposed to be played on normal. It at least has to be twice as hard, there's no challenge or strategy needed for me, I just stand and bang and never lose a single merc or fight. I guess I can keep replaying the last zone and that will give me quite a challenge, but that's all there is....

Crash

I stated a new game today after installing the update. Played several missions at the stash house, then started the gas station mission. The first section of the mission went OK, but when I started going through the second section, after a turn or two a Unity window popped up and the game closed down. I haven't restarted the game since that crash so if there's a log or something you'd like me to forward just tell me where it is and the e-mail to send it to....

Reprice the Shop Refresh

It needs to cost more than 1 rep. 1 rep is wayyy too low and undermines the rarity of uniques and overall difficulty. Mad scientist potions for free AND access to tons of unique weapons is way too powerful once you can pocket an ez 50 rep. Sure, you still have to buy it, but once you get supplies its just a matter of 'when' youll roll something unique you need. I dunno what would make it feel right, but 1 rep is just too powerful a resource as it currently is....
