Sorry if this is a stupid question, but can I not change my party? I was hoping to try out different units and mess around with team comp but it seems like all I can do with the other units is Test Run. Am I just not seeing the menu or something?

Each boss fight seems to include some damage that spawns on top of your characters. And when you move those units, their shades seem to stay put, even if there are no enemies targeting them... Is there some way to avoid this?

I'm sure one of the characters likely explained it in the game but why do you have a "ghost" when you move and if it is a ghost why does it take damage and kill you? I don't understand how the ghost works thematically or as a gameplay "feature".... can anyone explain the logic /reason / origin/ purpose of the ghost trail thing? ty!...

Anyone else think the ghost mechanic is too restrictive in the way it limits your strategy? im not talking about just moving away from enemies im more talking about how the ghost is considered a unit and takes up a space for the turn. hence many tactics that should be good become impossible. I mean i get it, in ITB it was pure win when the vek attacked a mech, cause you just scooted away and they wasted a turn.
