Games ranked from least to most favorite (so you gotta read the whole thing)
12. Matter Over Mind - A very cute idea but the movement is a bit sluggish and there's just not a lot to it.
11. Nice Screams At Funfair - Again, a cool idea that doesn't go anywhere... Also, the intro and outro are like half of the gameplay.
10. Bete Gris - I really dig this one's vibe, but it's literally 5 minutes long if you're a minigame god like myself.
9. Eden - Another really fun idea that had me hollering for my angel during the races. If leveling up the angels was a little more fun it would be way higher.
8. Chip's Tips - This one is why I played DXC 3 before the others. It's just a really fun idea that is executed so earnestly.
7. Bubbo - What can I say, I'm a sucker for games like this (Shipwreck 64). Ending sequence is kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ though...
6. Sato Wonderland - This is where they actually start to get spooky. Some fun ghost in the shell stuff plus a chase scene that had me tense as hell.
5. Reactor - I really really really don't like being chased dude.
4. Soul Waste - Would love to see this and my number one pick be full releases some day, this one just needs a bit more refinement. Kinda like Furi but with momentum if you're into that (I am).
3. Submission - Just a game about collecting apple (this one is really really cool).
2. Spookware - Warioware but with scary movies. What's better than that? (and there's a full release of this one!)
1. Disparity of the Dead - This one is actually so cool all the way through and the ending genuinely unnerved me for the rest of the night. Major House of Leaves and Inland Empire vibes This one alone is worth $10.
