Fantastic game; it's evident the developers put a great deal of love and care into Cataclismo.

As someone who adores tinkering with buildings in strategy games, the freedom of constructing your own base infrastructure and defences out of seperate blocks was right up my alley.
This is as much an endorsement as it is a warning; the extremely customisable nature of Cataclismo's build system also means that you'll often be better off investing time and effort into making custom-built structures that truly fit the map, terrain or challenge. On higher difficulties and at the end of the campaign, this can lead to levels taking a great deal of planning.

If you enjoy tinkering with your own buildings, and strategizing the night away, then Cataclismo will offer a rich wellspring of enjoyment. The campaign is great, the voice acting and art are excellent, and the flow of it all takes me back to the real RTS classics.
