My trigger finger is tired, Delta cursed enemies are so ridiculously spongy I only get hit when I start falling asleep plinking away at them

The punishment for getting hit is already to lose shield or HP, but for curse to then pretty much cut that HP just because 'difficult' while not even having much of a remedy just seems really dumb frankly. Sorry I got hit be the "wrong" projectile in the hectic gameplay of this game, I guess. I'm only at the first 'heat' level (and frankly it's already annoying me to no end), but if this gets much worse, I definitely won't try and complete the game on higher difficulties... Please tell me I'm missing somet...

Why do i have to re-check every room ive cleared if i missed any chests? Place them all by the entrence as a reward and lock them until room is clear Why do i have to press F to open chests and open doors?
