Way to downplay the issues. There's rape, abuse, mind breaking and the protagonist contemplating suicide. Such extreme shock content is definitely not something that people would be looking for in a yuri game.

Maybe the Chinese translation on the store page was bad or something, it clearly says one of the characters is Yandere for us in English lmao.

yeah, most of them have less than two hours which means a refund, and these accounts are mostly low level with almost no products or reviews on them, so I assume it's a review bombing raid.

Not on my page, the reviews that are actually in kanji are far buried under the Chinese reviews. That and tbh I think Chinese players are unfortunately getting a bad reputation for often doing such things. Japanese players who play VNs would be pretty aware there are plenty of VNs with frankly far more gory/extreme themes and images than what we're seeing here, I doubt this would be the most shocking.

Both in general and even in yuri there are plenty of extreme stuff. Theses dark ones we call "black yuri" of which a few I've played like Manakashi and the Futanari Hime series.
