Even though I like strategy RPG's such as Shining Force and Fire Emblem, this feels a bit too light on mechanics. No exciting gear or really unique characters and way too many enemies to slog through in each battle. I won't be finishing this one.

The game has a lot of questionable design choices and/or limitations, some are borderline making the game unable to progress, but it will scratch your tactical itch. It tried, and I appreciate the effort, but I would sadly give it a not recommended.

I... don't know whose this game is made for, too complex for beginners at the beginning, but not flesh out enough for veterans.

It has a pacing issue as it throws almost everything it has to the players in the first few hours of the game, and not so much to offer afterward.

And when I wrote everything, I meant it. Like, too many mechanics, too many characters to micro-manage, and too many character conversations, all of them in too short of a period.

I would welcome more content, but not at this pace.

Cobbled with questionable design choices like the status menu separating from the inventory menu and upgrade menu, it turns what should normally be just a few buttons pressed into circling the menu forever per unit per chapter.

The game makes the player spend more time on the menu than strategizing in an unpleasant way.

Geez the last thing I wanted to do is not recommend this game. I bought this because it kinda reminded me of Shining Force. It's somewhat like SF but many times worse. Music/sounds/animations all terrible/bland. Writing is extremely boring. The most annoying thing to me though is the lack of sound normalization. Some things are WAY too loud, others way too quiet. Hard pass/10.
