I saw a gaming website recommending this game so I decided to try it since it's on discount anyway. 0.6 hours in and I don't think I could recommend this game.

First few minutes when creating a new character I found my first roadblock. I tried naming my character "Lisbeth". Common English name. It got censored for the swear word "sb". WHAT IS SB!? WHAT LOVECRAFTIAN DICTIONARY DID YOU REFER TO WHEN YOU PUT THE WORD "SB" IN YOUR CENSORSHIP LIST!?

This amount of stupid censorship is close to an MMO level. I then named my character "Prairie" cause it would be funny if it got censored. It passed, fortunately (or unfortunately). But then comes the second nightmare: character creation. The changes felt shallow and badly optimized. My selection won't save, colors will not change, and scrolling the menu will also scroll the color picker wheel.

This game is very reminiscent of an MMORPG. The stiff animation, the cluttered UI, and the fact that 10 seconds into the game you're already told to use the fast travel. Do they get the framework from a scrapped MMO? Were they planning on making this game an MMO? The fact that by default, the voice-overs sound so small compared to, in my opinion, infuriating BGM, doesn't help.

They then told me to go to the market, but that's the nail in the coffin: My FPS tanked to 24-25. I turned facing the other way and it was fine, but this market is somehow hard to render. Do they forget to limit render distance and use LOD? I went to this store page to read the reviews and THIS GAME WAS RELEASED IN EARLY ACCESS FROM MORE A YEAR AGO.

If you want a farming sim game, many other games would be better. Stardew Valley, Dinkum, My Time at Portia, and many others. This isn't it.

I am surprised this game is out of early access, there are still many bugs and issues.
A few places you can get stuck at, and only use the unstuck method once a day, unsure if thats once an IN GAME day or not, decided not to risk it.
THere is a quest to get a better hammer but if y ou already did that before the quest appears it just sits there. Very annoying.
There is a quest still in some other language, not sure which one, it is probably Chinese characters though, so that's a bummer.
Can't seem to get the game to load from a quick save, just sitting there with a white screen not responding.
The anti gay character is really disappointing as well, its 2024 and the fisherman is so horrible.
The female player character has to wear a dress, who the hell farms in a dress? is this the 1800s?
The "memo"s only appear on the left hand page, so its easy to miss some on following pages.
THe fish exchange makes it look like you can purchase fish for the coins, but cannot figure out how. Rather disappointing when the quests are like "buy a fish" and you can't.
The Level up of stats needs a space between the name and proficiency example fishproficiency increased!
If you need 1 specific fish for the main quest line, you'd think they would increase the drop rate for it, but nope.
So many in game days wasted by fishing. so frustrating.
The scroll to read text is utter crap and I gave up on reading most of the 'news' in the Small town because of it.
The registration time for the fishing competition is ONLY ONE HOUR, so like, don't try to take care of plants or animals, just book it there if you want to participate and then be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ when you don't have time or energy to take care of the farm after. :( You can register early, but not late. Not a great experience. Still don't have the 1 fish for the main quest line, thinking it must have to be raining or some BS to get it :(
Lori has dialog missing spaces between words. Is this really a production release?
Many spaces missing in text. Some text still in Chinese or whatever.
Cannot use a better quality of item for some quests, making it really hard to complete them. :(
The last page of text for the windmill and the box game in the garden is switched.
HOW IS THIS PRODUCTION READY?
Wow, so many issues. I overpaid. I am not going to keep tracking them. 30 hours in, still finding issues.

Its still fun enough to play, but wow, am I surprised this is "released". Do not pay full price for this game, it is not worth that amount of money.

Sorry, aber dieses Spiel ist ein absolutes No Go. Grund: Absolut grauenhafte Lokalisierung und nicht vorhandene Optimierung. Wer nicht perfekt chinesisch spricht, sollte die Finger von diesem Spiel lassen. Es gibt in diesem Genre wirklich viele bessere Spiele... Und ich dachte schon Coral Island wäre unfertig aus dem EA gekommen. Wie naiv von mir, zugegeben. ;-)

Rückerstattung ist schon durch, sehr enttäuschend, da ich hin- und wieder solche Spiele sehr gerne zocke.

Sorry, but this game is an absolute no-go. Reason: Absolutely atrocious localisation and non-existent optimisation. If you don't speak perfect Chinese, you should stay away from this game. There really are many better games in this genre... And I thought Coral Island had come out of EA unfinished. How naive of me, admittedly ;-)

Refund is already through, very disappointing as I love playing games like this from time to time.
