i was having so much fun playing on release then got sidetracked with life, but i def woulda gave a positive review. why the hate?

I want to ask about this game performance, is this game really playable in 1080p? I see a lot negative review about this game and i want to know if the developer already improve this game on those areas Thanks

I've kept my eye on Rise of the Ronin for a decent while, but have abstained from purchasing due to reviews criticizing the game's performance. Since it has gone on sale, I figured I'd ask if anything has improved.

I keep playing it though. I am invested in the story, and I like doing the open world stuff. But I don't like the environmental traversal. It's insanely difficult to make any progress in the world or have fun exploring when everything is locked off and the hook can only be used where there is an icon for it. I thought the game would get more interesting with the glider, but even that isn't fun. Plus the puzzles in the environment are just lame. And also, what can TN do to improve in their next game? I think they gotta move away from the "forced parry" genre. It's fun when it's done right but not like the way they are trying to do. It's a delicate balance of gameplay and their last two games(Wo Long and ROTR) is a proof that they are not capable of doing it. I also think they should bring back build variety, which was very superficial in Wo Long and non existent in this game. Stat system and skill tree in ROTR is for the most part useless. I m...
