Just got the game I use oculus rift s tried to start and all I got was a black screen so I tried to validate the files but it’s still not working

First off, I got this game literally 2 minutes after learning about it based on my experience with Fisherman's Tale. I loaded it up for the first time today and am really liking it. However, I feel like something has to be done with the sprint function before I can continue.
