Well, if you're in the market for games that could potentially take you over the Steam 2 hour refund policy giving you a lifetime of regret then Last Room could be for you!

As always with these cobbled together games, ensure you turn the volume down from your computer instead of the game settings as the sound effects will make you throw your headphones across the room if you're not careful.

Once you start playing the game you'll realise that the interactions you have with objects are hit and miss at best. Unless your aiming reticle is on a specific point of an object then you will be unable to pick it up. It took me a few levels before I figured out you can pick up the laser-orb-hand thing instead of kicking it up the stairs and such. Very frustrating.

Most of the assets in general are quite out of place. The description of the game is that you are in a medieval setting so when you come across floating platforms and laser bridges it makes you question what the developer thinks the term "medieval" actually is.

Speaking of the description, the Steam info added by the developer seems to be generated by AI. There is no way a human has ever thought up the sentence "high-stakes acrobatics add a physical dimension to the game". I'm also uncertain of the authenticity of the developer information as there seems to be no trace of them online but that's a story for another time...

As you advance through the game there will be additional interactables added to levels which if you're lucky can help glitch you to the end of the game quicker. Even if that doesn't happen, the puzzles are very linear and you'll soon start getting through the levels quicker and quicker.

There are some 'secret' levels that appear in the level selection but they can be finished quickly and add very little to the game.

In general there is no story, the music is odd at best and the price of this game has been increased substantially so it can be included in Steam key bundles. Avoid like the plague.
