How to decrease the music volume?

Title. I've tried going to the options, but the game isn't responding to anything to decrease how loud it is, I can move between the options, but I can't alter them.

Pixel art, but not really?

It's beautiful art, but like many pixel games it doesn't adhere to a strict pixel resolution. You can see this in the too-smooth parallax background scrolling, as well as in animated effects where sprites spin at sub-pixel amounts. There are also some non-pixel-art effects such as the distracting wisps floating in the foreground. I'll probably wait for a steep discount....
