I have a card circulating during battle that offers benefits if discarded but there isn't any way to discard outside of doing so at the start of battle when you're asked to do so....

This is a solid pickup sometimes depending on build, but you put an enemy in the game which instantly kills you if you take this, the one with the red axe that can bypass armour. Why make it impossible to beat the game by taking this?
