Dear Steam Community--DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. I did, and I feel scammed. I seriously doubt the integrity/character of the people behind the decision to keep this game online for sale and to deny my attempt to return the game.

The details of my return request are below, but TLDR: there is no local hotseat and online play is atrocious with constant bugs. I tried to play one game through with a friend, and it took 5 hours to finish because there was inevitably a new bug every turn which would require closing the game and restarting steam. Yet because I exceeded the 2 hours policy, I am unable to return the game. What a joke! It is impossible to do a single playthrough in 2 hours with all these bugs. My friend and I are now stuck--I hope you make a better decision. Here are the details of the original complaint:

This game is full of bugs and not as advertised. First of all, there is no local multiplayer (hotseat), so the bugs that affect online play are absolutely crippling (apologies for ableist language). Now secondly, when I open the game in a window, I cannot change the size of the screen, and the lower part of my deck is occluded. When I join the screen for online play, often I cannot see any games until I refresh several times or reopen the game. I tried to play a game with another friend, and one single one-through took six hours because every turn the game would glitch and we'd both have to leave to continue. There are often "unknown errors" that appear, and the graphics clearly bug out. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a steam game, and the designers clearly put zero thought into the wiring behind this game and misled their audience to make a quick buck! Note the 5 hours of playtime were just to test a single-play through--I was just testing to see if the product was usable. I recommend this product be taken off steam unless the online connectivity and bug problems are fixed.

The game has so many bugs, especially online, I'm surprised it's still allowed for sale. Clearly, there's been no attempt to fix the issues for years. However, to learn the rules, it's not so bad, and playing against AI helps figure out some strategies. It's just too bad there's no responsibility required from the publisher.
