Sound distortions
Can anyone help me?
I've encountered some sound cracklings during gameplay frome time to time. Usually it's effects, very rarely it's music, sometimes it's completely ok. Uninstalling\reinstalling OpenAL soft or sound card drivers seems to have no effect on this problem.
Is there a way to permanently fix it?

do you get your sound from hdmi cable ?
sometimes nvidia does this...

i bought my new computer in 2022, usually realtek chipset on motherboard is the source of sound, but on windows 11 it did not work.

luckily i could get audio from hdmi cable, but sometimes the nvidia card as source of audio gave cracking noises... especially after wake up from suspend...

now i no longer get does noises... did you update your video card drivers ?
also update realtek drivers if you use those, check for your motherboard files: audio
