If you need help, there are literally thousands of videos and guides that can help you just as much as a single person on a forum, circumventing all contact.
So... Your choice.
Are you for real?
Why do you assume right away that the complaints are valid, and the other side of the argument are sycophants?
Why would anyone assume to lose all the fun from playing because of that before even trying the game?
Wtf?
It's pretty ridiculous to post an "I'm done with this game post" or "♥♥♥♥ these devs" and expect some sort of condolence...
Most threads posted reject advice and are just hissy fits with no real solution...
How is not being able to cry about a game on a forum sucking the fun outta it? And you're talking counter productive.
The toxicity comes from people who complain...not the people actually playing the game and taking at face value. Can't even post a "beat the DLC without summons" thread without gatekeepers coming in and saying how much they dont care or get a life.
You know what..I don't think this games for you..not worth it
It's a good community...if you ask for help...you'll get help...you need a boss beat? People will immediately post willing to take it on...but sitting here having a 10 year old style hissy fit because things don't go your way and insulting the devs and the gaming taste of a fanbase that's been around for years is just asking for trouble
"What's with the toxicity" - vaguely phrased, immediately followed by -
"Damned Miyazaki penis slurpers! Can't take a lick of criticism or ranting! SO TOXIC!!!"
You're literally the other side of the coin.
Play the game or don't. No one cares.
Aka taking advantage of the tools the developer intended.
Suck at casting spells, try light rolling with a quick weapon, suck at rolling try blocking, suck at blocking try deflecting.
Suck at everything try summoning.
Everything is on the table everything is valid.
Least toxic thing I can tell you.
One thing you can't do is cry about difficulty because you refuse to learn the tools available to you.
"im having trouble and its frustrating to me, any tips"->wont get dogpiled, people isn't insulting someones hobby, just having a bad time.
hope this helps understand a very simple system between someone picking a fight and someone doing their best.
Some were difficult, some were incredibly fun, others were not so good.
But in the end we played a game because we thought it looked cool or interesting or fun.
I still do this, and while I've be disappointed by a few games I've bought, at least I got to experience them without drowing in negativity or positivity surrounding them. I play games to form my own opinion.
If you approach it with a semi-logical build and an openness to move things around, change talismans, and play to boss' weaknesses, you'll be just fine.
Then why do people reply to threads complaining about, for example, the Bell Bearing Hunter's difficulty with "It's not OP, you just suck at the game?" Quit licking boots, you're embarrassing yourself.
Why would anyone not even having played the game yet have a problem with a thread about a very specific enemy in the game? Something smells very fishy here...
Ah, yes, the exact thing I'm talking about. It's NEVER the dev's fault, even though for the DLC they had to make a map to find things necessary for character progression because they suck so bad at giving the player hints about stuff. What a shameless crotch taster you are.
This has nothing to do with licking boots, but nice ad hominem right there.
