also, is there any improvement between "disgaea 4+" and "disgaea 7"?

Or do I have to break the chest with regular damage? I just opened 4 legendary chests in 7-1 and got gold Whirlwind Slap(R15), Ninja sword (R13), EX-20(R-13), and Nerd Glasses(R11). These seem kind of low rank for where I'm at; everything on that level was wearing Samurai Robes (R19) and other stuff. I don't really care about the gear, as I'm wearing way better stuff anyways, but I'm just curious if I need to break the treasure chests normally and if using thief's key makes the evility not work. I have been searching for this in the shop at the cheapest level and at the lowest level Item world. Is it in the LoC? Or am I missing something?

All the way into the item leveling path = never shows. C: Some combination of both. Anybody happen to know the answer? On the 9X floors at the end of the item growth path I couldn't get a single Mystery Innocent to show up out of 8 of them....
