Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth is a classic SNES-style metroidvania game set in the Lodoss of War world. We control Deedlit, a High elf who mysteriously appears in the Wonder Labyrinth as she attemps to uncover why she suddenly appeared there as well as why her former companions behave in an odd way.

The gameplay itself is fairly simple and the entire game relies on the gimmick of switching between two elements: wind and fire, which could wear off if the game wasn't so short. The enemies, bosses and the very few challenges there are are not very hard either.

The game is short, even if you attempt to 100% it shouldn't take more than 9-10 hours, and I mean 100% it, not only get all achievements (Although in this case, they're the one and same).

Overall, if you want a somewhat succint, classic, metroidvania experience, this game could be your thing.

I love Lodoss War from the first time I watched the anime. This was a joy (and my headache) to play!

Great MV. It was a bit on the easy side, but well worth playing. I look forward to more MV's from this team.

It's a nice little metroidvania. I have no knowledge of the source material the game is based on, which is probably why the story didn't grip me at all.

There are better metroidvanias out there, but if you've already gone down the list of greats and want a quickie to have fun with, that should do it.

P.S.: It's a pretty short one. It took me 7 hours to 100%, though I cheesed one achievement because screw farming mobs for hours on end.

I love the original this is based on and I love metroidvania, who could ask for more? This game is actually pretty good and It checks all the usual boxes. Though I only played an early build in the past while it was in early access, I just reinstalled it and will play it again soon now that it is complete.

Castlevania SoTN fans out there: this game is what you've been looking for. Map exploration with back-tracking, great boss fights with move-patterns, spells, various weapons, all of that and much more. As a metroidvania fan, I really loved this game.

My overall score: 4.7 / 5 --- Super recommended. Definitely buy it if you like metroidvanias.

This game is great. The elements mechanis and the spells are great, they make you think in order to beat the enemies. The bow and arrow puzzles are also good. Boss fights are one of the best I've ever seen, probably the best part of the game. The only thing I missed is a better menu for changing equips and spells, and maybe having more equips.

Nice pixel art, great animation, beautiful scenarios. A real spiritual successor to SoTN.

Great story, worth watching every cutscene and reading all dialogues.

I still have to play it again to get the achievements I'm missing and 100% the map. So there's great potential for replaying it.

Very good game. As a matter of fact it was a great trip down the memory lane. The first game I ever played was Record of Lodoss War: Advent of Kardis on my sega dreamcast. This one, though a bit different in difficulty and atmosphere, gave me a lot of fun.
Pluses:
1. Short
2. There are some difficulty spikes
3. Plot is engaging
Minuses:
1. Map is incomprehensible due to how little info there is on it
2. No endgame material
3. No motivation to play past credits

Excellent retro-metroidvania! I'd heard of Record of Lodoss War before, but never watched or read any of it. I imagine this game would be even more enjoyable for someone who has.
Think I got it on sale for $10 or $15? Well worth it, IMO.
Probably worth the full, un-discounted $20 to somebody who already knows and loves the Record of Lodoss War IP.

If I had to find a weak-point to criticize, there's not a lot of replay value for someone like me who's meticulous about finding every secret room on the first playthrough, but IMO a game like this doesn't need that attribute to be great.
