Something I've noticed in the early going is that if I manage to confuse, paralyze, or bind the opponent, then that nexomon is essentially defeated and I win. Am I missing something here? Or are status conditions THAT broken?

Question to all players which features do you want the most for Nexomon?

I havent yet passed parum town. Ive gone back and caught a bunch of mons... Should I do this asap or not. I caught the normal Mega-Rare, the Rare water crab, and the uncommon plant. Should I catch everything using the wiki or not? Also, since there are only 7 types, should I just get the highest rarity of each type other than normal? (like should I swap my wind starter to a wind mega rare?) Thanks....

So what in-universe exactly stops the PC from claiming all the starters?
