Preview and size
I have been editing my vacation videos that my wife and I made with our smartphones for several hours now.
Now I noticed that sometimes after rendering the final video is displayed much smaller, even though the pixel size was always set to 1440x2560.
After editing and rendering it a second or third time, it fills the screen on the smartphone.
Unfortunately, I still don't know why that is.
Am I making a mistake when inserting text or is it something else?

So my question is: Is there an option to preview the video before rendering it?

The second question I have is the size information.
Probable size: 50 MB - 10 GB
Such information is very imprecise.
After combining 3 mp4-h.264 clips (140 MB / 80 MB / 1400 MB), the saved mp4-h.264 video was 60 GB
Can't this be predicted more precisely?

You can preview the video before exporting in the preview window, which is located in the upper right part of the screen. You can also preview the video in full screen by clicking on the "three dots" under the preview window and selecting "Full screen preview". You can manually influence the size of the final video file. To do this, please click the "Advanced" button in the export settings window, and in the window that appears, select the value of the Bitrate СBR instead of VBR. After that, you can manually set the desired bitrate value and immediately see the final file size after export. For 1080p video with the h.264 codec, the optimal bitrate is 7000-9000 Kbps. For 4K video with the h.264 codec, the optimal bitrate is 35000-40000 Kbps.
