help with the insect puzzle please

since theres no guides I thought id ask here. the one with the insects on the line where you need to move them in order, im having trouble. some hints or the answer pretty please.

Any chance for a sequel?

Hi, I just finished playing Whimsy and I really enjoyed it! The puzzles were fun and I loved the art style! You did a really good job on it. Thanks so much for offering it for free too! I wouldn't mind paying for the sequel as long as it was reasonably priced and a longer game!

already stuck on first puzzle

first puzzle - 4 spaces, 8 blocks some symbols next to spaces in which I don't see how they pertain to the shapes on the blocks. Is this just a case of trial and error, or am I just missing something?
