I'm enjoying the gameplay but I read much faster than the text slowly spells out on screen so I spend a lot of time mashing the mouse button

Also, I would like to know how long an average playthrough is supposed to take. The reviews seem to be written at around 3 hours. Spaceflight and a management similar to FTL/hylacon, similar inclusiveness to the outer worlds, but looks like a less linear story line.
