No reason this game should be out of EA. It has more bugs than i know what to do with. New map Alaska is broken.

Man..spending almost 45 minutes trying to catch a catfish that was literally close enough for me to pick it up when it took the bait is infuriating.
I was using a level 10 Rod, level 12 reel, level 10 line and a spinning lure in Kiel Canal and the fish never seem to get tired.
The fish shot to 2000 ft out, gave me 200 ft, then shot up to 3000, gave me another 200, then shot up to 5000 ft out and was going from 5000 to 4700 and would never seem to get tired. I fought with this thing for 45 minutes and it never got tired...ever. There's no way that a 70-80 pound catfish has a 2nd and 3rd wind like that. That's just insane. I found myself nodding off in the middle of trying to reel it in because of how long it was taking. I got tired before the fish did. I ended up having to just give up and go to bed.

I can't recommend this game until the developers or "developer." figure out a better system for tiring fish out. It should not be 100% reliant on the equipment, if you fight a fish for 45 minutes, at no point after the 30 minute mark should the fish have enough energy to keep pulling your line to the other end of the map with no return. I understand that the "fight" is exciting, but most of the time it's just the fish winning and the players giving up because it's too much of a hassle.

Positives -I like the environments and levels and choices for equipment and the graphics are really quite good, just need a better system for fighting fish.

It still buggy and the fishing mechanics are not good.
No wonder I hardly play this game at all. Its not real good.
It takes forever to reel in a 2 lb fish with reels speed on high. Really?!
The reel speeds and mechanics are not realistic.
Stick with the original Fishing Simulator!!!
