Similar thing happened with House Party - it was available in Germany and then recently got banned from Steam. Good ol' oppressive German gov't. :) Check out patreon though, you might be able to get it there.

these iditons in germany are really great. they allow any violence ... call of duty etc. and a game with some sex is immediately banned. such idiots

Hm, I haven't seen any information from Steam regarding a region ban of my game or any adult games in Germany. The game is still selling in Germany as far as I can see.
I'll look into it.

But for unkown reasons 'Depraved Awakening' which is also a Adult VN with explicit sexual content is still available...

Based on the info in the thread I linked to it's because Steam react to complaints, which means the group that's causing the problem have to notice the game and complain about it before they do anything.

"The group that complained is Medienanstalt Hamburg/Schleswig-Holstein."

Yep, it does look like both my games are banned in Germany for a, to me, unknown reason.
That's very sad, since I know that many germans play my games.

I don't advertise where else to get the game, since I respect Steam as a marketplace.

Yep, that's what the House Party devs had to do - they use itch.io and a couple other places as well. At least there are options for the German folks.

You could probably also use a VPN and set your store location to US or something and buy steam gift card keys for US. But then you should use a different steam account because you can't always switch your store country back immediately and your payment methods (paypal, credit card, ...) from your current country won't work then.

You can still get banned in Steam for using a VPN to change the country you're buying from, so I wouldn't recommend it.

So, that means all my saves are for nothing. Well i have to thank again my moronic laughable country....

No. you can keep the game. the question is only what is in the future with episode 2. you can probably only buy that on the official website
