Does this game contain romance?

I've done all the endings and each of them shows something different about the curse. The resignation ending shows the deity is real and he's killed by the brother after an evil lighthouse keeper trades him for the power to do that. The runaway ending shows the creature needed people away and was too scared to leave and probably the same evil keeper got him to agree to humans slaughtering each other in its name to keep it alive and I assumed the keeper was the one who killed all the noncompliant ...
