Hello, a question. What happens if you are on the verge of either rebirthing or ranking up characters to push for another 10 levels. But the rank ups cost the same as your rebirth but you happen to be still too weak to advance. Then you are out of blood stones, too weak to advance and can not rebirth. What happens in that situation? Is there some sort of "emergency-exit" thingy active or would I be doomed then? Just wanting to know in advance before I happen to find out....

Or how do we use them? I always have a ton of blood shards but nothing to use them on. Resets are cheap.

What determines the hero portrait that's shown fighting? Can it be set?
