Option to force 16:9 aspect ratio

Some players that have really nice ultra-wide monitors are having issues with the frame being cropped at the top/bottom.
Now there is an option to crop the game at the original 16:9 in the options menu.
For the ultra-wide-monitor-owner there will be black bars on the side, but at least it will fix the issue.

Steam Deck, black screen

Would like to play on the Steam Deck. I can start it and get to the menu. As soon as I go to new game I see the logo and can read text below. After that everything is black and nothing more happens. Edit: Looks like the game is frozen, included overlay. But the Steam OS continues to run as normal. Edit2: Proton version Proton hotfix helps....

Steamdeck version requires Proton-hotfix

If you are playing the steamdeck version of Sacre Bleu and you run into crashes after the main-menu, you likely need to install the proton-hotfix

Click Game Info -> Properties -> Compatability -> and turn ON the "force use of a specific Steam Play Compatability tool"

I bought this game on a referral from a friend who stated that one of the creators has a diverse ability (is a power chair user)
Support diverse abilities. It is a good game, easily accessible. I have a diverse ability myself and some games are too challenging. This game was easy to control the characters and move through the stages with my controller. I only played the first level and other levels look more challenging, which looks fun and makes me want to play more.

Sacre Bleu is a 2D Action Platformer with Bullet Time mechanic with speedrunning thrill. You venture on a quest through the revolutionary france and on take on many challenging stages.

The stages over many puzzle and precision platforming sections with many secrets to uncover, you get combo points beating challenges inside each stage which affect your overall rank in the stage. The bullet time element was very fun where you can use your blunderbuss weapon to deflect incoming attacks launched at you.

The boss fights were fun and creative, each offers a unique variety of attacks. The art design of stages and enemies was eye catching immediately. The controls were pretty solid as well. It will depend your quick reactions and speed timings to overcome the challenges.

If you're a big fan of 2D Bullet Time Action Platformers or Action Platformers in general, then this is a very recommendation.

Indie Boss Fights Database

Add option of 3440x1440 with black bars (because crops the game)

With Ultrawide monitor, when selecting 3440x1440, the game cuts the top of the game area (crops), and annoyingly hides what you're intended to see. I would much rather play with black bars and see more of the game all at once, how it's intended. You can do 2650x1440 windowed, Right click on desktop, View > Hide desktop icons. And making the background color black. It works fine, but a bit annoying to do just to play the game, switching back and forth like this. Can't really write a review right now beca...

Fast and fluid platformer that is easy to pick up and play, but with a high skill ceiling. Levels range from easy to quite challenging, and they're short enough that you'll want to replay them to get a better time.

Very strong visuals and presentation!

10/10 would overthrow the aristocracy again

On the second level of the lab when its to teach the throw there is no button on chalkboard and no button works to make the throw. Im on keyboard and mouse.

SteamVR opens automatically

My SteamVR opens automatically everytime i try to launch the demo and will put the sound onto the VR headset with no way for me to change the audio output in the game or even in windows (changes in windows will be ignored) i tried going into the openxr folder an renaming the dll since that worked in lies of p but here it doesnt seem to work. anyone have an idea how to fix this without having to unplug the headset all the time. EDIT: SOLUTION -nohmd in launchoptions...
