Anyone know how to edit unit stats?
Hello, I am trying to edit the unit stats just to have fun and mess around. I specifically want to change the accuracy of the US Marines but when using Pack File Manager I can't find any units called US Marines when opening the various data packs. How can I change the accuracy of these units, as well as change other stats for other units for the US faction?

Assuming no mods, try 'patch2.pack' and go to 'db', 'unit_stats_land_tables', it should be the 'elite_usmc' in key #132.

Just increase the 'core_marksmanship' value of the unit to the number you like and save it, see if it matches the in-game stats to confirm it worked.

Same method goes for all other units, but if they're not DLC units like the Marines, you should do it in 'main.pack'

Download packfilemanager (PFM) and change some numbers.

Try searching for usmc, I believe thats the file name for the marines.

Awesome, thank you so much. Do you know how to edit the values? When I click on the number and try to type, nothing happens.

No worries!

Are the boxes grayed out? If so, you'll need to go to the 'Options' tab in the PFM and uncheck 'CA Packs Are Read Only' and you should be able to edit them.
