Are AI improved in Empire 2 mod?
I recently installed a Empire 2 mod and started as Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth. On my first battle against Prussia I seen that AI tweaks a lot, they're trying to charge with their cavalry and instantly stops then they're retreating exposing themself to my line infantry. The same is with normal troops, they're trying to attack but retreating and doing that everytime.

Anyone has this problems ?

The AI feels marginally smarter but its still kinda dumb. Guess there is only so much you can do.

The AI in ALL Total War games cannot be altered or changed at all. It is not embedded in the game, but deeper in the game engine. Not to mention against the law internationally to have that discussion for this game.
I cant play this game tbh. Even with mods it doesent make any fun because of the dumb ai.

I'm sure the ICC will make punishing people who mod a 16 year old game their top priority. Make sure to let us know their criminal KO count.

Pirates Uber Alles has options to enhance the AI formations and tactics. Also for Naval Battles.

Combined with the morale and accuracy changes it can make for much more dynamic battles as the AI will attack/defend in formations with individual units (rather than the entire army turning to face you) and if routed they will regroup and reform a line before attacking. AI cavalry are deadly and will run down any units you put out of position with out a covered flank. In general the AI performs better because every unit has a LOS rather than just the centre and front units. There's Naval changes which greatly increases moral of ships so large galleon 3rd/2nd rate ship battles will last longer and ships won't route unless they lose the vast majority of their crew, get boarded or take too much damage. Often they will fight to the point of sinking which makes for some great battles.

The mod might seem a bit overwhelming at first but you can ignore 99% of the launcher and optional extras as the default mod has been tailored to work fantastically as an overhaul. It also isn't filled with bloat and it gives nations more varied unit options that fit with each region.

How about unrest in some nations like Polish-Lithuanian? I recently tried this mod as this faction but I seen that there's so much unrest in this country and not enough money for start. Is this intented to be or it's maybe a glitch or something?

There's multiple campaign/map modes and I've only played the extended one with British and Portugal, I know that as the British, England, Scotland and Ireland all rebel around 1702-3, which is apparently historical but I don't know my history there. When I played as Portugal, around 1702/3 Scotland and Ireland became independent nations. I think there are some scripted historical rebellions / unrest that are part of the mod.

Utter nonsense. We can discuss this as much as we want.

his first point is true- you cannot change the Ai from what I have seen. The second point is idiotic though.....

You can def change the AI, try Bran AI mod. Not sure what you define as "change" but the AI is 1000x better with that mod on

no it isn't, lol
I looked in the mod- it changes weapon ranges, fatigue, movement speed, morale effects and bonus multipliers.

well i dunno what to tell you. I've played empire a ton, both with an without darkmod, and with and without Bran AI mod, and the AI is way "smarter" with Bran AI mod installed
