Kennedy was abducted by that special creature in the beginning. That seemed to hint to me initially that we'd eventually encounter eldrich abominations or some kinda secret enemy force but it amounted to something not as interesting to me. I was going to get this game, and I still might, eventually. I didn't realize that it was singleplayer, though. Does anyone know if the developers have said anything about plans for a co-op mode?
