That's when the Switch 2 console is planned to come out. Given how popular Hollow Knight was on the Switch, Silksong might be scheduled to come out around the same time or even as a launch title. Maybe Team Cherry have had talks with Nintendo.

Just leaving this here to see if this prediction turns out to be right. Time will tell.

Correction, the prediction you’re talking about is when it’s supposed to be announced not release. Unless Nintendo does a Valve move and launches it a week or two after it’s announcement; I doubt it will release in the second quarter.
