The issue is that concerning a "Failed to initialize the engine" error dialog box is a Window 11-related problem caused by a bad recent Microsoft Update. can't open spell book it says press B ...i press B to open the so called Spell book ...but it doesn't open ........and the developers doesn't even care i was hoping that update fixes ...fixed it but nope ...it wasn't the case .....Lame ..... i'll score the game developers a 2 ...out of a 100 maybe .......

Hi, I know this game is old, but this and "OMD 3" need to limit the frames of the cinematics and the menus to a value set by the player. Every time I go through those 2 I get +1400FPS and the power consumption is increased to the limit. In the long term this might damage the GPU of the players. And yes, OMD 3 has an option to limit the FPS, but it doesn't work with the cinematics or the menus either....

Just downloaded the demo but it doesnt launch, says failed to initialize the engine, any ideas?
