Isn't Syphia suppose to be a girl?
But in castlevania 3 it says will you take him with you, but in sotn you can clearly tell the one floating around using magic is a girl. So was this just a typo in america or was he/she suppose to be someone else?

Yes she is a girl. IIRC it was a typo, cause they used the "him" as a memory issue
