» Naga High Healers (naga) tier 3 healing unit; more durable & powerful than Naga Healers


UPDATED UNITS
» Naval ships (all races) gain 'Maneuverable' perk {+10 melee, +10 missile, +10 elemental resists}; replaces 'Armoured Hull' perk on tier 1 naval ships
» War Senpan & Raiding Senpan (planestriders) get +1 movement point; War Senpan HP reduced to 24, down from 25
» Famous heros (tier 3 lords) are no longer immune to banes; Legendary heros remain immune {this was done to give targeted spells a stronger role}
» Life Givers (planestrider) HP increased to 50, up from 45
» Fledgling Firebirds (infernal) upkeep reduced to 4 mana, down from 5; HP decreased to 12, down from 14; dmg increased to 5, up from 4; build time increased to 4 turns, up from 3
» Flayers & Mind Flayers (infernal) build time increased to 3 turns, up from 2; build/upgrade costs adjusted slightly
» Fire Adepts (infernal) no longer has 'Light Armor' perk
» Fire Wraiths (infernal) 'Infuse' cooldown increased to 5 turns, up from 4; build time increased to 4 turns, up from 3; cost increased slightly
» Fate Witches (infernal) movement points decreased to 3, but no longer has 'Water Repulsion' {Water Intolerance} perk
» Dementors (infernal) no longer has 'Water Repulsion' {Water Intolerance} perk
» Fanatics (infernal) no longer have 'Water Repulsion' {Water Intolerance} & 'Steam Gliding' {Steam Barrier} perks; they retain 'Infernal' perk
» Many mid-tier infernal units have reduced melee resistances {to make their racial drawback more pronounced}
» Molten Spiders (infernal) no longer have 'Infernal' & 'Water Repulsion' {Water Intolerance} perks; they retain 'Steam Gliding' perk {waterwalking}
» Monster-Eating Spiders (monster, hostile) renamed 'Monstrous Spiders'; cost increased to 25 gold, up from 20; given 'Web' action {stuns & grounds the unit if it flies for 1 turn; deals no damage}
» Predator Spiders (undead, hostile) 'Web' renamed 'Death Web'; given slight damage reduction & ability to ground the unit if it flies
» Ghosts (undead) build time reduced to 3 turns, down from 4
» Dracolich (undead) given +2 regeneration
» Grum-Gog's Risen (undead) base damage reduced to 16, down from 17; melee resistance reduced to 40, down from 60
» Shadow Miners, Shadow Enchanters & Shadow Seers (dremer) HP reduced to 27, down from 30; given -25 spirit resist; regeneration reduced to +2, down from +3; movement points increased by 1
» Shadow Miners & Shadow Enchanters (dremer) produce 1 less gold / mana
» Dremer Reavers (dremer) have 'Toxic Strike' in place of 'Piercing Spines' {death damage rather than missile damage, plus attacks cause 40% reduced healing on target}
» Dremer Smashers & Dremer Reavers (dremer) models changed; smashers are smaller in groups of four; reavers are bigger in groups of three
» Flycraft of Order (svart) is no longer an upgrade for Senior Prospectors; instead, Dragomort Guardsmen may be upgraded to this unit
» Exemplar of Strength (svart) base movement points reduced to 3, down from 4 {still gains +2 more movement from base perks, for a total of 5}
» Plaguewalker (svart) given sound {to enable this, unit files were swapped with the very rare Lunawalker; so these two units will appear swapped in existing saved games, but will work properly in new games}
» Naga Healers (naga) may be upgraded to Naga High Healers
» Naga Chanters (naga) 'Water Spear' renamed 'Tidal Blast' {helps differentiate it from Water Arrow}
» Gorgons & Elder Gorgons (naga) 'Piercing Scream' now hits the target plus the next hex in line, but does slightly less damage
» Great Medusa (naga) given +4 regeneration
» Harpy (naga) & Ace Harpy (usual hero) 'Maneuver' renamed 'Harpy Dive' and grants +50 elemental & +50 missile resist for next turn; cooldown increased to 3 turns
» Deep-water Kraken (neutral) 'Camouflage' renamed 'Submerge' {more appropriate for spell sprite}
» Stubborn Knights (allies) given 'Knight's Shield' perk {+20 elemental, +20 death resists}; cost increased to 120 gold, up from 100
» Stubborn Crusaders (allies) base damage increased to 22, up from 20; 'Crusader Strike' action removed; now has 'Crusader's Shield' perk {+35 elemental, +35 death resists}
» Great Mage Shadow (spell) regeneration reduced to +2, down from +3; gains +50 spirit resist
» Labyrinth Runner (usual hero) 'Stampede' movement points reduced to +1, down from +2
» Enlightend Shaman (usual hero) 'Nature's Grace' can now affect undead units
» Halfall (usual hero) may wield a bow at the expense of a magic item
» Mountain King (famous hero) 'Shieldwall' no longer provides regeneration
» Olden Ghost (famous hero) HP lowered to 32, down from 34; 'Gift of Darkness' now applies blindness to target
» High Koatl (famous hero) 'Lingering Death' has +1 dmg to DoT effect & weakens unit; 'Quick Death' has automatic 3 dmg per turn for 3 turns
» Barfor (legendary hero) may wield a melee weapon at the expense of a magic weapon
» Tal Kalessil (Great Mage unit) 'Spit of Fire' renamed 'Trial by Fire' {to differentiate it from the spell of the same name}
» Flying scouts (i.e., Bats, Fey Serpents) now have their own leveling scheme that grants more survivability but less damage
» School of Piranhas (summon, hostile) given 'Frenzy' perk in place of 'Strong Scales' {easier to kill, but harder to catch}
» Pirate Ship (hostile) regeneration increased to +5, up from +2; given 'Barrage' AoE missile action
» Shadow Bats (hostile) spawn rate reduced slightly
» All Avatars (dieties) can now adapt to different damage types {harder to kill & fights require more strategy}; health reduced to 750, down from 1250; regeneration reduced to +10, down from +50; 10% vampirism removed


UNIT PERKS
» True Conviction -NEW- (Holy Beacon) +20% unit power, +20 spirit resist, waterwalking | upk = 3 mana
» Steam Cloud -NEW- (Black Magic Smithy) waterwalking {ideal for lords & non-infernal units}
» Maneuverable -NEW- (all tier 1 & 2 naval ships) +10 melee, +10 missile, +10 elemental resists; replaces 'Armoured Hull' perk on tier 1 naval ships
» Charmed Blades (Chamber of Blades) no longer gives +3 regeneration; instead grants 'Channeled Life' perk when unit suffers elemental damage
» Channeled Life -NEW- (buff via Charmed Blades) +30% life damage, +20% healing to unit; lasts 3 turns
» Festering Wounds (debuff via Grum-Gog units) -50% healing reduced to -30%
» Tritonic Adaptation (Land Port) now grants passability: flat rather than for all terrain types; cost reduced to 75 gold, down from 150
» Phials of Life (Laboratory) decreased to +1 regeneration, down from 2; cost reduced to 75 gold, down from 100
» Research Expedition (Tent Researchers) renamed 'Research Vessel'
» Steam Barrier (infernal units) renamed 'Steam Gliding'
» Water Repulsion (infernal units) renamed 'Water Intolerance'
» Mark of the Beast (Unholy Citadel) reworked -- 'Adds an action: Summon Demons; Hates: Blessed; Beast (status)'
» Miracle Pills (Healer's Hut) cost reduced to 150 gold, down from 175
» Bodiless (ghost units, various actions) removed passability: poor {passability through other terrain types remains}
» Savage Dremer (hostile dremer units) renamed 'Wild Dremer'; +1 sight removed, but all units given 'Scout' perk {easier for players to notice their increased sight}
» Fire Blindness (debuff via Ember Blast) decreased to 1 damage per turn, down from 2
» Cloak of Darkness (Black Magic Smithy) retired; replaced with new 'Steam Cloud' perk {see above}
» Field Medicine (healer level-up) renamed 'Field Training' & given new icon
» Great Healer (healer level-up) healing power increased to 25%, up from 20% & given new icon {to differentiate it from 'Healing Power' perk}
» All sylvan 'Beast' perks have -25 missile resist {for consistency}

» Artifacts are slightly more plentiful in undead loot locations (graveyards, cemetaries, crypts, etc.)
» Game difficulty settings for 'Normal' & 'Challenging' made slightly more difficult
» Non-lord units liberated from loot locations are less common
» Contamination (dremer unit action) may now target units on tiles with resources
» Stone of Regeneration (glyph) increased to stage 3, up from stage 1
» Wings of Eternity (AI faction perk) decreased to +1 regeneration, down from +3

BUG FIXES
=========
» Nature Regneration's combo effect changed to grant +20 PERMANENT regneration to beasts, rather than +30 temporary regeneration
» Glyph values have been rounded and normalized {for example, +14% changed to 15% & -29% changed to -30%}
» Many faction-wide enchantments that were unremovable before have been toggled as 'may be dispelled'
» Daughters of Sahmet (sylvan) 'Wild Fire' now correctly applies the 'Burn' debuff, as stated in its description
» Agrela's Shepherd (sylvan) level-up perks work correctly and may be chosen as normal upon level-up
» Spirit Walker (legendary hero) sight radius corrected to 2, down from 3
» Svart & Planestrider naval ships correctly assigned 'no race' status {this prevents them from dropping in random loot & spawning during town revolts}
» Magic Elemental (hostile) 'Wind Element' action now features a working spell sprite
» Fixed a display bug for Great Mage portraits affecting a small number of Windows users (unfortunately this fix greatly increases the size of the mod)
» Typos and lore inconsistencies in unit & Great Mage descriptions have been fixed {special thanks to Fux Pam & mturkhan}
