Hello,

This is my first real contribution to the csgo community.
The purpose of this application is to make the process of testing your workshop creations ingame as easy as possible.
The manual process takes effort and has lots of chances to screw up your game.
My application makes this process easy and has functionality to backup and restore your items_game.txt.

The process is hopefully very simple:

• My Program.
  
• Your workshop text file
  
• A skin for the weapon you want to test your skin on (FN or MW is better)
  
• Some common sense
  
• Some understanding of where things are on your computer.

• Launch the program
  
• Browse for the workshop text file. normally located in your csgo folder.
  
• Selct the weapon that you have's weapon name. NB. Dual berretas are called elites? (1 line here saves 10 lines of code sorry : p)
  
• Select the collection.
  
• Click "Find Weapons"
  
• Activate Common sense
  
• Select your skin from the dropdown (oftentimes there is only one).
  
• Click "backup" if you haven't already(only if you havent changed the files yet or it backs up a bad file).
  
• Click "GO"

Im sorry, it is still a work in progress and althiugh it works 80% of the time for me im sure someone will break it for some reason.
If it does crash please post a comment with the error if it gave you one.

Known bugs

• Crashes if you press go with things not filled in.(im working on this atm )
  
• Crashes if you have reordered the text file.
  
• May not work when your csgo, steam and documents are not on the same drive (didnt work ffor a friend with a new SSD?)

If you try to play on any multiplayer game without restoring you files you will get kicked for (Vac integrity errror) or something similar.
This is NOT a vac ban, just the server saying "you're not my type"
I can see no reason this would get you a vac ban but if you want to be really safe you can put -insecure in the launch otpions,
This disables the vac system but resticts you form joining VAC secured servers until you remove it from launch options.

This means use it for what you want but link to this guide in you workshop post and do not give away this program as your own.
If you do i will be sad and you will feel bad for the rest of your life.

It uses no network.

This is a problem on your end, if you dont want it to rotate/move make sure to set these to 0 in the workbench:



Click browse next to it and find the right folder,
