Description
Inspired by BJ Baldwin's "Recoil" video series about trophy trucks, I wanted to bring the best driving experience in SE by long work on balancing suspension settings. And yet it's really far from perfect, like whole wheels physics in SE. I tried to keep fair friction and still prevent flipping when turning, but still it's flipping as hell, just lesser than usual.

Upd: Now with "realistic suspension" script, written by Skleroz by my request! The script imitates nicely adjusted high-speed compression - the faster wheel travel, the stronger suspension becomes. It also increase strenght while jumping long airs to prevent wheels breaking and even adds differential. It doesn't guarantee invincible wheels, it just makes them more durable.

Upd: Now equipped with fancy manual gearbox! Because people in 2077 knows that automatic gearbox is ♥♥♥♥ :P
Use 2 to gear up and 3 to gear down on toolbar, you can change gears presets in "gearbox memory" text panel

Well, they introduced some changes to suspension since script was made and "air shock" parameter was actually inspired by that script. Maybe it no longer necessary?

Just came back to SE and I wanted to grab one of my favourite trucks unfortunately it seems the suspension script this relies on may be broken and the author hasn't responded to a post by another user about that.

I'll still give it a try, because it may be something else that user has installed that is breaking it . . . and I loved this truck when I last played over a year ago . . . back when Keen broke all the LCD image mods.

Could i ask for permission to use the lower part of this truck for a variation of mine? (Essentially, the chassis)

This Has so many features! It has oxygen, cargo, seating, pistons for wheel repairs, scripts to make wheels function better and now I've forgot the rest. This is Amazing!

Figured that much. May be worked around by having 6 gears; 1-2-3-4-5-6 and showing GearNo-1 (1-1,2-1,3-1...) on the panel. Tho i dont know C# i cant be certain and i cant simply look into the code and make something out of it. Only doing logical thinking stuff through my Cbasic & Lua knowledge ^^

But script can't recognize anything of these, even 0 :(
Maybe I can ask script's author to add support for N or P instead of number, then it's ok :)
SSven 26 Oct, 2016 @ 1:27am
Well since we are talking about gears it should be either 0, N or P(ark) (N could be a little misleading since anyone with a little knowledge knows what it does and will try to avoid it when they park their car, and no keyboard input == N i suppose.)

Thanks, also N gear idea is good, the only bad thing is that it should be called by some specific number instead of N and it can be confusing for players :)

Heed my call and come back to life!

This truck is good. Literally. Only thing i couldn't do was climb 60~degrees on the long run!
This is better than anything i or my friend did in our history combined (talking about wheeled stuff tho)

BTW there are too many details and i frickin' loved them!
(I suggest an N gear for when, you know; stop. Max anything that helps you break. Since handbreak doesnt seem to do enough we need to break for ourselves.)

5/7 would drive again.
Have my thumbs up!
