Description
Senet sets were found in ancient Egyptian tombs. The rules are mostly lost, but there are some posted at the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, San Jose, CA, in the USA. Rules: http://boardgamegeek.com/image/288268/senet

Rather than tall and short pieces, I used backgammon tokens. It's played by 2 people, or 2 teams.

If you prefer using traditional sticks rather than the museum's six sided die rules, there is another workshop item you can check out here: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=611387599

@Nephryte Yeah, that's why I decided to go with them with the pawns.

@Hope, the Queen's look nice.

Since I found the bckgammon tokens a bit confusing for set up. I ended up picking chess pieces instead to match the short and tall pieces.

I used cast iron pawns for the short pieces and light wood queens for the tall pieces. I feel like it makes them a lot more recognizeable this way.

I decided to put this here in case the creator or someone else wants to use chess pieces instead of backgammon.

I thought about making the pawns snap, but I think it adds to the simulation fun to be delicate in your movements.

May I also make another suggestion: make a grid so that the pieces snap to the squares.

@Nephryte: I've uploaded the sticks just now: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=611387599
The board was not included, your workshop item was only used for the screenshots. Enjoy. :)

that or they called it happy because the afterlife was like a whole world of it's own, finding that house means you found the right gods/ and goddesses, or the "cleaning" place for you to live forever

@E_net4: If you have custom sticks, or short and tall tokens, I would be happy to cross promote your workshop items.

@Mr_Oso: Thank you for the clarification on the House of Happiness rule. From a philosophical standpoint, I wonder why Egyptians had to spend some time being happy in order for their journey thru the afterlife to continue.

yep, every pawn has to stop there with exact in order to move forward... or else they go to the BAD place: the water.

if any pawn gets in the water you MUST move them out.
