The Mismatch Room

Description
Looks like we have a problem. The bumbling idiot who designed this chamber (not me XD) incorrectly programmed all of the buttons so that they enable a hazard that obstructs the given objectives of the puzzle. You have to find your way into the back rooms and figure out how to override the amateur's faulty and highly unprofessional programming.

Chamber Specifics:
Open room style, intermediate difficulty with some challenging/advanced concepts. WARNING: there are timers, quite a few of them--however there is logic involved and selective portaling. This is my FIRST laser-driven puzzle.

TIP: Pay CLOSE ATTENTION to the signage, and the general layout of the puzzle. Just about everything is connected to something, you just have to look for it.

this was ,wow what a map! i cant believe i finished it. i used all the cubes and sphere. i tossed the cube up on the grate, stood on the laser cube grabbed the cube and dragged it into position. i dont know if that is your way but the only other way i could think of i just coulnt do it fast enough

I finished it, but I wasn't really thrilled. There were way too many elements, and the sound of that ball being fizzled over and over again almost drove me nuts. I ended up punching buttons and pointing lazers to see what they did because not everything has a sighn on it.

I solved it with just one cube. Here's the demo. [www.asuswebstorage.com]

Thanks for sharing your video. It exposed one of the bugs which I could edit. Still, those are some interesting and clever solution ideas.

So hard map that I solve without 1 cube and 1 ball, my run here: http://youtu.be/d7t_Obj7tiY

Thank you! That's good to hear!
Hm, if you look hard enough, the fizzler was attached to one of the laser catchers behind the third room though it was really a matter of trial and error as I understand there are a few of them.
Maybe in the future, could you send me a screenshot or video featuring your alternative or unintended solutions? It would help me iron out the bugs and improve the execution of the chamber.

That was great!
The highlights were figuring out how to get yourself and the cube up above the grating in order to block the laser catcher which turns on the laserfield in room 3.
Figuring out how to eventually get the sphere was good, too.
Come to think of it, I never needed the second reflection cube in room 3 which seems to be behind a fizzler that cannot be turned off.
Unlike stormsend, I did use the sphere to get through the last laser field and exit door.
Again, really great chamber!

Ah, thanks a lot. I really wish I could find these bugs or have someone else find them before I publish them. I subscribed to yours, looking forward to it =)

Excellent. Bravo. Well built map. I thoroughly enjoyed playing. The puzzles in the first chamber were a difficult bunch to figure out but you said to watch the signage. The puzzles in the second chamber were fun although I didn't get to solve the intended way. I accidentally killed the laser in front of the exit without getting the sphere. I'll favorite this one and come back later to see if I can get that sphere. Please play Mamma told me NOT to come when it's convenient. Thanks and I'll see ya round the workshop.
