Description
A Coastguard Response Van based off land vehicles used by the UK's Her Majesty's Coastguard. The Alpha Class is designed to transport responders quickly and tow mission-specific trailer modules as required.

The vehicle comes equipped with one front winch, a rear N-Type tow module (made up of two large connectors and one small connector) for modular-trailers, and 3 passenger seats. The vehicle can be lifted with the five available roof small connectors. The vehicle is also extensive kitted with lighting to match that of UK emergency vehicles: including automatic indicator lights, automatic reverse lights, 360 blue lights, white front wig-wags, rear red flashing lights, scene lights, airport amber lights and hazard lights.

Total Propulsion: 2 Airplane Engine (120,000 Power) & 6 Small Wheels (6 Wheel Drive)

Equipment: 1x Winch, 1x Mock VHF Radio, 7x Small Magnetic Connectors (1x Front, 1x Back, 5x Roof) & 2x Back Large Magnetic Connectors

For those who want a more realistic and larger design with more equipment and gadgets; you may want to consider the HMCG Beta Class.

This model / style - the HMCG Alpha Class - is the updated original HMCG Van created during the Open Beta of Stormworks.

(Note 1: Due to problems with the game terrain collision code (V1.28) the vehicle will occasionally get stuck when at high speed. To resolve this - simply let go off the throttle and it should reset itself. See the discussion thread post for more details. This is a game problem not a vehicle problem.)

Most recent update seems to have rendered the vehicle in operable as it fails to accelerate from rest.

Yello. Good news: I can confirm the AND gates are working again after version 1.26 has come out and therefore everything should be back to normal.

After testing I can confirm that after the V1.23-v1.25 update a lot of the AND circuits do not work as intended. This can be shown in the attached image . This is a game error and not a vehicle error and has been reported here [mcro.org]. There is nothing I can do at the moment to fix this (I have tried replacing the AND circuits with no effect) and this appears to be affecting all creations - even new ones.

It's done. 13 prototypes later the UK RLNI Tyne Class Lifeboat is finished for everyone to use. I've always had a soft spot for the Tyne Class due to my hometown. Enjoy!

There are now two optional module trailers that you can use. The new HMCG Cargo Module has been released today. Whilst the Basic Open Trailer is intended just for general use, the Cargo Module is specifically designed for transporting cargo pallets.

I’m really grateful and surprised by all the downloads of my work. To be honest if I get even 50 subscribers I considered myself to have done well. So thank you everyone for making my day.

More modules are on the way – with the next ones most likely to be lighting module, beacon module or pump module. I dunno which one will be finished first. Is there any modules or addons you want? Let me know in the comments section.

The vehicle has been completely rebuilt from scratch today to fix a few legacy issues and to incorporate lessons / techniques from the building of the HMCG Beta Class . See the Change Notes for more details.

After going through four prototype versions I am happy to release the HMCG Response Vehicle Beta Class . Based off the UK HMCG Response Vehicle Alpha Class, the Beta Class was initially design to replace the Alpha Class before I decided to release it separately. Both classes (Alpha & Beta) will be maintained.

Re-uploaded from the Stormwork's Open Beta. A few minor changes; as such the technical labels are not fully accurate at this time. Not planning anymore major changes to this version at present. I'm working on a newer version (Version Beta) that when completed; will be announced & linked here).
