Up-North CS:S League ..:: Join uS ::..

Up-North CS:S League (abbr. UPNL) is a new small CS:S league. It's a competitive, but at the same time a fun league.

At the moment it contains 3 ladders: 4on4 | 5on5 | 5on5 (deagle/awp). More will come as soon as more teams joined us (more ladders, new tournaments and leagues).

And yes, we know there're many competitive leagues and ladders out there (4pl, esl, esea and so on), but they went pretty complex last time and only interested in money.

We're searching for teams from ulow till mid skill! Challenges or even LIVE MATCHES are only couple of features! No more searching in IRC channels BashMe!

You want to take part? No problem. Then you have got to register all your clan members on our website!

You haven't got a clan? No problem too! You don't have to be in a clan, but you have to build up a team maybe consisting of your friends, buddies and so on. Whole team has to register on our website too, otherwise you can't take part.

Rules and help are translated to different languages. Support tickets for matches and general questions allowed in different languages due to multilingual staff (admins).

UPNL stopped for next time

Since Team Up-N, which was managing the Up-North League, switched to CS:GO, we've closed / paused it for now. If there will be enough interest for a new CS:GO league, don't hesitate to write here.

We will rethink the possibility to open up a CS:GO league if there're enough votes.

Testing new anticheat for UPNL

Next days we will test a new anticheat for our league. It's called UCP and if testing will be successfull, we will implement it as mandatory.

This anticheat consists from client and server plugin. It prevents starting of anticheats before you even started CS:S. If cheat is loaded, it will close the game automatically. Additionally it has got a feature of making screenshots of players. After downloaded and installed it will send screenshots from players to our servers. So if there're doubts, admins can always take a look at screenshots of player.

Both, server and client plugin are working WITHOUT VAC, because UCP developers don't know how VAC will react on using of this anticheat. Client side has got a special shortcut. If you start it, CS:S will not connect to VAC servers (setting in an INI file "vac=0"), so no threat is there that you can get banned.

For the server plugin it's necessary to turn off VAC on the server. You can do it from your control panel, if you have rented server. If you have a dedicated server, you will have to add "-insecure" in the start options of your server and then restart it. Of course there's an option to turn this plugin off, if you're playing normal PCW's, so you can start VAC again and restart server again.

After testing phase we will inform you about our decision regarding this anticheat plugin.
